The Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior, edge hood.
In March 1963, the new Giulia Sprint GT was presented as a two-door sport coupe on the technical basis of the Giulia sedan, which was launched last year. The Giulia Sprint GT and its various variants were often called simply “Alfa GT” or even more common of the “Bertone” in the colloquial language. The body was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at the company Bertone, it was built at Alfa Romeo in the factory Arese.
The vehicle was the dream car of many young men in the sixties and a great success for Alfa Romeo. In 1970 a design overhaul took place and to the distinction were the models until then “edge hood” and then “round hood” called.
